To support our work we are recruiting to the following role:

Director of Corporate Services (part-time)

Salary range £60,000 plus £2,235 Islands Allowance (pro rata) per annum
Working hours 17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
Location Lews Castle College UHI Stornoway Campus

Lews Castle College UHI is pleased to invite applications for the post of Director of Corporate Services, which is a new role, established as part of a programme of change for the organisation.  Working closely with the Principal and Chief Executive, this post will form part of the College Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic direction and management for the organisation at an exciting time in the continuing development of the College.  The post will be located at the College’s Stornoway campus.

This is a key post, responsible for the effective leadership and management of the corporate services of the College and, as a member of the College Executive Leadership Team, for the continued development of the organisation.  In addition to providing leadership to the corporate services teams within the College you will also work closely with colleagues from around the University partnership to develop and deliver shared service provision and ensure sound financial management.

You will be educated to a minimum of degree level, or equivalent, hold a relevant professional qualification and, have at least 5 years’ experience as a senior manager within a corporate setting.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of developing key corporate functions and processes, leading and managing teams, working effectively with partners and stakeholders and a track record of effective financial management and achievement of targets and objectives.
